After 9 played minutes, Leon's Anier Crispo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Santiago Peli came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Leon reached it. After 14 played minutes Leon got a freekick which was hit by Anier Crispo. Lamarque FC's Santiago Peli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Perez in the 18th minute of play. Florentino Enekoitz's late challenge caught a Lamarque FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Enekoitz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Lamarque FC booed when Leon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Enekoitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lamarque FC's 郝镇崇 got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If 郝镇崇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 蒋彬亦 was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Lamarque FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

52 minutes into the match, Santiago Checa notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Lamarque FC's Santiago Peli. Santiago Peli was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 郝镇崇, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. When 郝镇崇 came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Lamarque FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 郝镇崇 couldn't finish the play. After 63 minutes, 郝镇崇 made it 3-1 with a short kick to the right side. Leon's Felix Fernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 66 minutes into the game, 蒋彬亦 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Felix Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 蒋彬亦 struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. A wasted opportunity for Lamarque FC. 75 minutes into the match, Leon's goal looked a bit too open when 蒋彬亦 came free, but Felix Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Lamarque FC's Santiago Peli got control of the ball when Fernando Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Perez got free with Santiago Peli in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 6-1 became the score in the 93rd minute when 蒋彬亦 elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 蒋彬亦 succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Lamarque FC fully deserved thier win.
