With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Astudillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Marcial Brion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gogo Endira was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. In the 18th minute Marcial Brion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gogo Endira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reynaldo Ospetsus short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Gogo Endira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 23 minutes into the match, Todo Rojo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Jerold came free, but Alejandro Astudillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Todo Rojo FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 24th minute. Penalty! Gogo Endira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcial Brion in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Nivek22 getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tiburcio Timo hit a great ball. If Reynaldo Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcial Brion in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gogo Endira saved Nivek22 from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Marcial Brion managed to get in a good position for a shot. Todo Rojo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcial Brion was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gogo Endira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 45 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Ospetsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gogo Endira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Evaristo Artizar made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Todo Rojo FC's zone, Evaristo Artizar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejandro Astudillo came out of the goal and Evaristo Artizar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes, Severo Erauso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nivek22 and the Todo Rojo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 61 played minutes Nivek22 got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Timo. If Reynaldo Ospetsu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 70th minute, Evaristo Artizar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Brion sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Todo Rojo FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Astudillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Marcial Brion had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Jerold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Alejandro Astudillo made a huge save. Evaristo Artizar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 89th minute, Vinicio Jerold made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Astudillo. Todo Rojo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Artizar in the 94th minute of play forced Todo Rojo FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Astudillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Jerold could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Alejandro Astudillo made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Todo Rojo FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Nivek22 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
