Spectators: 7172 (Terracing: 5381, Seating: 1649, VIP seats: 142) When the match had gone on for 4 minutes, Jeronimo Vincente took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Modesto Jobo to make any attempt to save it. Mateo Iratxo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saturnino Arnau in the 8th minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Cardozos AFC's Eloy Dalmai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mateo Iratxo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 14 minutes into the match, Cañete's goal looked a bit too open when Saturnino Arnau came free, but Mateo Iratxo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulises Fe's late challenge caught a Cardozos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ulises Fe helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Cañete getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Ulises Fe hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Cañete's zone, Eloy Dalmai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Iratxo came out of the goal and Eloy Dalmai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mateo Iratxo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Arnau's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Eloy Dalmai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Iratxo having to interfere. Saturnino Arnau struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Mateo Iratxo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cardozos AFC. In the 30thth minute of the game Saturnino Arnau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cañete's Mateo Iratxo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Cardozos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeronimo Vincente came free, but Modesto Jobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eloy Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Saturnino Arnau left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cardozos AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Cardozos AFC's Modesto Jobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Vincente in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Cardozos AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruperto Bazil came free, but Modesto Jobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cardozos AFC's Alfredo Ascencio got a free kick in the 57th minute. Igor Ondino's late challenge caught a Cardozos AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Ondino helped the player get up and apologised. Saturnino Arnau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Mateo Iratxo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Cardozos AFC's Joaquin Marin got a free kick in the 71st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeronimo Vincente in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Modesto Jobo saved Cardozos AFC from getting behind. After 74 minutes of play Cañete's Ulises Fe was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 75th match minute, Cañete was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulises Fe to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Cardozos AFC's Eloy Dalmai slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mateo Iratxo. That made the score 2-2 after 76 minutes of play. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Mateo Iratxo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Mateo Iratxo made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Saturnino Arnau sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Cardozos AFC's Alfredo Ascencio got a free kick in the 94th minute.
