Cañete's Mateo Iratxo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Colas in the 24th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Ismael Colas kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mateo Iratxo. That made the score 1-1 in the 27 minute of play. The supporters of Josefina booed when Cañete was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victoriano Isauro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gonzalo Tipi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ismael Colas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gonzalo Tipi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ismael Colas to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Vincente during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes, Josefina's Evaristo Nafarroa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mateo Iratxo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Josefina reached it. Mateo Iratxo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Colas in the 84th minute of the match. If Ismael Colas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josefina's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
