Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Arturo Leoiar got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Abascal to maneuver through the defense. Lino Guerau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Leoiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 4th match minute, Florida was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Cidro to maneuver through the defense. If Camilo Eliazar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victorino Isias in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lino Guerau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lino Guerau came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Atletico Shaila's Victorino Isias. But to his dismay, Victorino Isias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Lino Guerau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Isias in the 21st minute of the match. If Arturo Leoiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lino Guerau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Isias in the 28th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Club Atletico Shaila got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Estefan. Camilo Eliazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Camilo Eliazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pedro Cuartio during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Club Atletico Shaila got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Cuartio. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Club Atletico Shaila's Jorge Laurendi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Arnas in the 56th minute of play. Anier Arnas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jorge Laurendi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Florida getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ceferino Cidro hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Club Atletico Shaila's Silvio Guib tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jorge Laurendi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rdth minute of the game Arturo Leoiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Florida's Lino Guerau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Shaila's goal looked a bit too open when Anier Arnas came free, but Jorge Laurendi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute, Club Atletico Shaila's Donato Rodriguez seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Donato Rodriguez the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Club Atletico Shaila protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Donato Rodriguez had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 78 minutes into the game, one of Club Atletico Shaila:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Florida. Artemio Atarrabi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jorge Laurendi. 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maximiliano Ixona during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
