Ladislao Eufrasio might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adrian Ilixo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Eufrasio ran back to his position shaking his head. Adrian Ilixo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Marcelino Jaunti made the kick off in the second half. Adrian Ilixo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Gombal in the 54th minute of play. Ricardo Gombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Ilixo having to interfere. Adrian Ilixo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Angulas's Saturnino Guter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Jaunti in the 74th minute of play.
