In the 4th minute of the match Jonas Cordario shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benicio Eguntsenti showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 5 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Gombal came free, but Benicio Eguntsenti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Jonas Cordario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Angulas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nueva Chicago the free kick. Remigio Berdaitz made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 11thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Saturnino Guter would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 14th minute Ricardo Gombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Eguntsenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the game, Julian Alfonso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Saturnino Guter. Julian Alfonso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 24 minutes Angulas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roque Oroitz who took care of the corner kick. In the 26th minute Ricardo Gombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Eguntsenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardo Gombal came free, but Benicio Eguntsenti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ladislao Eufrasio might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benicio Eguntsenti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Eufrasio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 31st minute Ladislao Eufrasio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benicio Eguntsenti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ricardo Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Benicio Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saturnino Guter made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Remigio Berdaitz sent off a good shot on target. Angulas's Saturnino Guter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Angulas from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Julian Alfonso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Armando Mosen charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Armando Mosen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Armando Mosen hit a great ball. Saturnino Guter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Alfonso, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Saturnino Guter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Alfonso in the 58th minute of the match. Nemesio Txanton hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ricardo Gombal struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Benicio Eguntsenti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angulas. Benicio Eguntsenti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ricardo Gombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Gombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Benicio Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Benicio Eguntsenti, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 76 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Benicio Eguntsenti had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ladislao Eufrasio. Remigio Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ladislao Eufrasio struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Benicio Eguntsenti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Angulas. Angulas's Saturnino Guter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Alfonso in the 86th minute of play. Remigio Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Angulas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Nueva Chicago.
