In the 12th match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Txanton to maneuver through the defense. Celestino Galtero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 15 minutes into the match, Horacio Dabi notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Nueva Chicago's Benicio Eguntsenti. Benicio Eguntsenti was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cipriano Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Eguntsenti having to interfere. Celestino Galtero scored 0-2 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benicio Eguntsenti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Nemesio Txanton was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Gogo Refugio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 32nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benicio Eguntsenti. Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Cipriano Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benicio Eguntsenti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Galtero in the 42nd minute of the match. Cipriano Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Eguntsenti having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Nueva Chicago was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Mosen to maneuver through the defense. Julian Alfonso hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Pirovano AFC's Gogo Refugio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 49th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Nueva Chicago. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Remigio Berdaitz to make the kick off. If Celestino Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nueva Chicago's Remigio Berdaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benicio Eguntsenti made a fantastic save in the 60th minute, when Cipriano Ramone sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Pirovano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Berdaitz came free, but Clemente Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Celestino Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Francisco Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Nueva Chicago getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Francisco Velasco hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Nueva Chicago's zone, Celestino Galtero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Eguntsenti came out of the goal and Celestino Galtero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Celestino Galtero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cipriano Ramone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisco Velasco was shown his second yellow card after 72 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 73rd minute, Francisco Velasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Celestino Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Eguntsenti having to interfere. Celestino Galtero was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 77th minute. Pirovano AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With a little luck, Nueva Chicago's Benicio Eguntsenti got control of the ball when Cipriano Ramone tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cipriano Ramone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Galtero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Benicio Eguntsenti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cipriano Ramone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Eguntsenti having to interfere. When the match was over Pirovano AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Nueva Chicago throughout the match.
