Edelmiro Orland came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by CABLE PELADO FC's Arnulfo Ipar. But to his dismay, Arnulfo Ipar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. With 40 minutes on the clock, Elvio Oliverios commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Edelmiro Orland went to the wrong direction when Gilberto Belmiro was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. When Arnulfo Ipar came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the CABLE PELADO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arnulfo Ipar couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Horacio Tohias managed to get in a good position for a shot. After the first half CABLE PELADO FC were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Gasteiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Arnulfo Ipar took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Orland. Edelmiro Orland dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. Edelmiro Orland made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnulfo Ipar in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Medinas's goalkeeper Edelmiro Orland had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arnulfo Ipar. 60 minutes into the match, CABLE PELADO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Laurin came free, but Paolo Pelayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, one of CABLE PELADO FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CABLE PELADO FC. Horacio Tohias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Arnulfo Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aquilino Feliu hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Medinas's Horacio Tohias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Pelayo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tomas Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tomas Dolfos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paolo Pelayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Tohias in the 89th minute of play. Horacio Tohias might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paolo Pelayo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Horacio Tohias ran back to his position shaking his head. 96 minutes into the match, Aquilino Feliu notched a goal, 4-4, to the right of CABLE PELADO FC's Paolo Pelayo. Paolo Pelayo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
