Pirovano AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Medinas the free kick. The supporters of Medinas booed when Pirovano AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patricio Ubendu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horacio Dabi's late challenge caught a Medinas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horacio Dabi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pirovano AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Horacio Dabi hit a great ball. Evaristo Laurin struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Clemente Neto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Medinas. Clemente Neto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Dolfos in the 21st minute of the match. Evaristo Laurin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Neto having to interfere. Evaristo Laurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Neto read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Tomas Dolfos scored 1-1 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Neto, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Pirovano AFC defense, Evaristo Laurin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clemente Neto. The Pirovano AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clemente Neto should have stopped the shot. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Dolfos was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Pirovano AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Tohias came free, but Clemente Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Medinas's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Laurin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clemente Neto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horacio Dabi hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. 94 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pirovano AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Artemio Honesto was slow to take the kick. During this time Medinas's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Tomas Dolfos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pirovano AFC's Clemente Neto did a great save. In the 94th minute, Medinas's Artemio Honesto dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. The Pirovano AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Medinas were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
