An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Santo in the 19th minute of play forced Sarmiento's goalkeeper Bernardo Tajo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sarmiento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Egoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Quentin was the one to do the kick off. Bernardo Tajo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teofilo Quentin in the 54th minute of play. Bernardo Tajo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Quentin in the 63rd minute of the match. Edelmiro Sanduru charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
