Armando Columbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Quentin in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Teofilo Quentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Armando Columbo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Benedicto Noe put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Severino Walme. 29 minutes into the match, Cachirulo AFC's goalkeeper Armando Columbo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Santo. Clodoveo Santo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Columbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. After taking down the ball on Cachirulo AFC's corner Alonzo Raymundo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Severino Walme quite easily take care of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bonifacio Aurken to make the kick off. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Severino Walme showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Independencia AFC's Severino Walme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Independencia AFC from getting a goal against them. Armando Columbo came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Independencia AFC's Clodoveo Santo. But to his dismay, Clodoveo Santo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Severino Walme was a little too slow when Bonifacio Aurken got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-2. Armando Columbo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Quentin in the 78th minute of the match. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Independencia AFC's goalkeeper Severino Walme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 80 played minutes Independencia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Edwardo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Santo in the 85th minute of play forced Cachirulo AFC's goalkeeper Armando Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
