Alfredo Peruanton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teofilo Quentin went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Aldo Franco hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edelmiro Sanduru during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 16 played minutes Independencia AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Sanduru. In the 21st minute, Teofilo Quentin made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Peruanton. RUCULA TEAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. If Honorio Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes, Bonifacio Terciero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independencia AFC and the RUCULA TEAM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Independencia AFC's Severino Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Beat in the 32nd minute of play. Danilo Edwardo's late challenge caught a RUCULA TEAM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danilo Edwardo helped the player get up and apologised. Honorio Beat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Walme having to interfere. Aldo Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Honorio Beat suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. RUCULA TEAM made a substitution. Leonardo Eguntsenti replaced Honorio Beat.

A collision led to RUCULA TEAM getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Baltasar Firman hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, RUCULA TEAM's Siro Lertxun got a free kick in the 60th minute. Severino Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, RUCULA TEAM's goalkeeper Alfredo Peruanton had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Clodoveo Santo. 74 minutes into the match, Cristian Ortzi notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Independencia AFC's Severino Walme. Severino Walme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to RUCULA TEAM getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Cristian Ortzi hit a great ball. Cristian Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cristian Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Aldo Franco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severino Walme having to make a save. In the 91st match minute, Independencia AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Sanduru to maneuver through the defense. After 93 played minutes RUCULA TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Franco. Despite being the better team, RUCULA TEAM failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
