Arnaldo Roldanillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Quentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Silverio Jaizki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Severino Walme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silverio Jaizki made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Jaizki in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severino Walme saved Independencia AFC from getting behind. Independencia AFC's Severino Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Jaizki in the 65th minute of play. When Clodoveo Santo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Independencia AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Santo couldn't finish the play. 70 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Tambillo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Santo in the 82nd minute of play forced Club Atlético Tambillo's goalkeeper Arnaldo Roldanillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Independencia AFC booed when Club Atlético Tambillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Claudio Ramone didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Ramon Gudesteo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Independencia AFC's Severino Walme. The Independencia AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Club Atlético Tambillo's performance. The match ended with a win for Club Atlético Tambillo.
