With a little luck, Los Fundamentalistas's Jacinto Chano got control of the ball when Honorio Beat tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 16th match minute, RUCULA TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorio Beat to maneuver through the defense. Jacinto Chano was out of position in the 18 minute of play, and Honorio Beat capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Honorio Beat really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Jacinto Chano stood somewhat misplaced when Honorio Beat came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 22 minute. Rigoberto Curcio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Peruanton having to interfere. After having played for 27 minutes, Honorio Beat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RUCULA TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honorio Beat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Los Fundamentalistas's zone, Cristian Martxel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Chano came out of the goal and Cristian Martxel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute, Rigoberto Curcio made a precise shot to the right of Alfredo Peruanton. RUCULA TEAM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Cristian Martxel fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RUCULA TEAM's protests and gave Cristian Martxel a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes RUCULA TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Martxel. Alfredo Peruanton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rigoberto Curcio in the 40th minute of play. After 45 played minutes Los Fundamentalistas got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Esdras. In the 47th minute Rigoberto Curcio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Peruanton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Honorio Beat made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Cristian Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 53 played minutes RUCULA TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Martxel. The supporters of Los Fundamentalistas booed when RUCULA TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baltasar Firman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Honorio Beat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Jacinto Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Ortzi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jacinto Chano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Los Fundamentalistas's Rigoberto Curcio made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Peruanton was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alfredo Peruanton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wilfredo Cordarryl in the 72nd minute. If Rigoberto Curcio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto Chano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Martxel, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 78th match minute, RUCULA TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Lertxun to maneuver through the defense. Marciano Turi made in the 81st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Wilfredo Cordarryl immediately put the ball in play. Gabriel Eguen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-3 to the left of a surprised Alfredo Peruanton 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Esdras threw the ball into play from the sideline. RUCULA TEAM's Honorato Salvator quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Cristian Ortzi charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cristian Ortzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 86th match minute, RUCULA TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Ortzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute Cristian Martxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorio Beat scored 4-3 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacinto Chano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the Los Fundamentalistas players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for RUCULA TEAM.
