In the 5th minute, Defensores de la Birra FC's Arsenio Estefan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Arsenio Estefan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Defensores de la Birra FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Arsenio Estefan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Filomeno Gaztea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Candido Presebal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Siro Heli kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Christian Toribio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Desiderio Oroitz 14 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Siro Heli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christian Toribio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Desiderio Oroitz made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Alejandroide's Honorio Iruinea got a free kick in the 23rd minute. The supporters of Defensores de la Birra FC booed when Alejandroide was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Iruinea didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Filomeno Gaztea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Fix kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After having played for 37 minutes, Christian Toribio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores de la Birra FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Toribio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edelmiro Heriberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Filomeno Gaztea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Toribio took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Desiderio Oroitz. Desiderio Oroitz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Alejandroide's Edelmiro Heriberto got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filomeno Gaztea who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 66thth minute tested the skills of Candido Presebal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Defensores de la Birra FC's Orlando Sanduru got a free kick in the 66th minute. Edelmiro Heriberto struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Candido Presebal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alejandroide. The supporters of Defensores de la Birra FC booed when Alejandroide was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Esteban Timo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Desiderio Oroitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Toribio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Alejandroide's zone, Christian Toribio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Desiderio Oroitz came out of the goal and Christian Toribio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cleto Asier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Oroitz having to make a save. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alejandroide's goalkeeper Desiderio Oroitz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Defensores de la Birra FC's Candido Presebal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de la Birra FC from getting a goal against them. 93 minutes into the match, Alejandroide's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Toribio came free, but Desiderio Oroitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Toribio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Christian Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Defensores de la Birra FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
