Eulalio Suarez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chinchinales AFC's Miguel Navarro got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Serafin Florian fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ClubAtléticoBocaJuniors's protests and gave Serafin Florian a yellow card for diving instead. 44 minutes into the match, ClubAtléticoBocaJuniors's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Navarro came free, but Primitivo Rosalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Chinchinales AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apolo Orlondon to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Guillermo Otsando got free with Nicanor Christobal in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nicanor Christobal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Suarez in the 61st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Salvador Ferrer in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Primitivo Rosalio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Eulalio Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Christobal having to interfere. If Guillermo Otsando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicanor Christobal was a little too slow when Eulalio Suarez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 86th minute. The score was now 0-1. Leopoldo Niva kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Guillermo Otsando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nicanor Christobal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over ClubAtléticoBocaJuniors could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chinchinales AFC throughout the match.
