Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 7 minutes into the match, Independiente Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco Jakobe came free, but Cristobal Maule reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Laureano Pepillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Maule having to interfere. Medrano's Francisco Jakobe got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Independiente Rivadavia booed when Medrano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Luzea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laureano Pepillo came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cristobal Maule could save by the left post. If Francisco Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute, Laureano Pepillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristobal Maule was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Francisco Jakobe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristobal Maule didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 34th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After 37 played minutes Medrano got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Ixidor. Cristobal Maule came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Medrano's Laureano Pepillo. But to his dismay, Laureano Pepillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Francisco Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Cristobal Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Ixidor in the 51st minute of the match. Cristobal Maule made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Jakobe in the 54th minute of play. If Pastor Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Francisco Jakobe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francisco Jakobe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Jakobe in the 71st minute of play forced Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper Cristobal Maule to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Laureano Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Medrano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laureano Pepillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Astor Luzea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristobal Maule. Independiente Rivadavia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Medrano's goalkeeper Danilo Estevez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mauricio Hats. In the 92nd minute Francisco Jakobe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes, Pastor Santxol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Independiente Rivadavia and the Medrano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Independiente Rivadavia's Pastor Santxol got a free kick in the 94th minute. If Laureano Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Medrano fully deserved thier win.
