An unexpectedly hard shot by Jesus Vitin in the 17th minute of play forced Cosacos FC's goalkeeper Rodolfo Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Jesus Vitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Rico saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Cosacos FC's Santos Paez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lorenzo Velasco. Lorenzo Velasco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Cosacos FC's Rodolfo Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Vitin in the 27th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Jordy in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodolfo Rico saved Cosacos FC from getting behind. After 29 played minutes Cosacos FC got a freekick which was hit by Tomas Claude. defensores de glew's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Tadeo Bizi scored to the left of an out of position Lorenzo Velasco, making the score, 3-0. After 37 played minutes defensores de glew got a freekick which was hit by Nicanor Enekoitz. Camilo Fidencio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Velasco made a huge save. Arsenio Pudes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Jesus Vitin made the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jesus Vitin in the 54th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnaldo Jordy got free with Rodolfo Rico in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 88 minutes into the game, Tomas Claude was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cosacos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave defensores de glew the free kick.
