Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ernesto Quiroga kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Victoriano Eztebe recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Fidel Rubio. Victoriano Eztebe showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. When El ciclon's Augusto Isadore in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benjamesis FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Augusto Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Isadore in the 14th minute of play forced Benjamesis FC's goalkeeper Fidel Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Eztebe struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Fidel Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El ciclon. When Alfredo Cordearo fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El ciclon's protests and gave Alfredo Cordearo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Alfredo Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 20 minutes, Eleuterio Bastia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Benjamesis FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eleuterio Bastia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 minutes, Victoriano Eztebe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El ciclon and the Benjamesis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victoriano Eztebe kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Eleuterio Bastia came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Benjamesis FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Bastia couldn't finish the play. Joaquin Mikeldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Raymon in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of El ciclon booed when Benjamesis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Loiola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augusto Isadore kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 28thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Benjamesis FC's keeper Fidel Rubio was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. In the 32nd minute, Ernesto Quiroga made a precise shot to the right of Joaquin Mikeldi. El ciclon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Fidel Rubio made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Augusto Isadore sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Augusto Isadore in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Rubio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Victoriano Eztebe managed to get in a good position for a shot. El ciclon's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Eztebe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Rubio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Benjamesis FC's Fidel Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Isadore in the 52nd minute of play. Augusto Isadore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidel Rubio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Benjamesis FC's zone, Ramon Fernandez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fidel Rubio came out of the goal and Ramon Fernandez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Augusto Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 65th minute, Segundo Gartzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When El ciclon's Augusto Isadore in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Benjamesis FC's goalie prevented a goal. 67 minutes into the match, Julio Gelacio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquin Mikeldi. El ciclon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julio Gelacio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. If Augusto Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramon Fernandez in the 74th minute of play forced Benjamesis FC's goalkeeper Fidel Rubio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When El ciclon's Augusto Isadore in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Fidel Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Isadore, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Augusto Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victoriano Eztebe struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Fidel Rubio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El ciclon. Benjamesis FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over El ciclon's much stronger midfield.
