In the 21st minute, Alfredo Cordearo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the game, Rogelio Ishmael cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Joaquin Mikeldi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Suipacha getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nunez Chale hit a great ball. Victoriano Eztebe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Braulio Abajas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Augusto Isadore made a precise shot to the right of Braulio Abajas. Suipacha's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. If Augusto Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Isadore could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Braulio Abajas made a huge save. El ciclon's Filiberto Javiar got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Rogelio Ishmael to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Alfredo Cordearo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquin Mikeldi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nunez Chale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. El ciclon's Joaquin Mikeldi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Ishmael in the 73rd minute of play. With 79 minutes on the clock, Francisco Xabat commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 78th minute, one of El ciclon:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for El ciclon. The referee gave Suipacha a penalty, 81 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Martin Cortez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of El ciclon's Joaquin Mikeldi. 4-2. Nestor Alvarez hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Ramon Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot. El ciclon's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramon Fernandez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Braulio Abajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfredo Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Braulio Abajas having to interfere. El ciclon's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
