After a defensive mix-up in Gnecco AFC's zone, Victoriano Eztebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pankracy Balkiewicz came out of the goal and Victoriano Eztebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Augusto Isadore sped through Gnecco AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pankracy Balkiewicz. After 16 minutes, Augusto Isadore made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Gnecco AFC's Pankracy Balkiewicz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Victoriano Berbiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gnecco AFC booed when El ciclon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Cordearo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, El ciclon's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Eneto came free, but Joaquin Mikeldi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 27 minutes, Victoriano Eztebe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El ciclon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victoriano Eztebe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Cordearo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 39 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in El ciclon fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 39th minute. Penalty! In the 41st minute there was a penalty for Gnecco AFC. Ubaldo Cresconio stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joaquin Mikeldi. 2-2. Ramon Fernandez struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Pankracy Balkiewicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El ciclon. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ramon Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Victoriano Eztebe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. In the 74thth minute of the game Filiberto Javiar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gnecco AFC's Pankracy Balkiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Victoriano Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute, Ramon Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlos Eyague got free with Joaquin Mikeldi in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Eztebe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pankracy Balkiewicz was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 91 minutes into the match, El ciclon's goalkeeper Joaquin Mikeldi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Eneto. In the 93rd match minute, Gnecco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Chepe to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, El ciclon's Joaquin Mikeldi got control of the ball when Carlos Eyague tried to sneak it across the goal line. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
