Spectators: 6668 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Sergio Illart made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute, Bernabe Nuxila got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 5 minutes into the game, Carolina's Esteban Millano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ichipuca FC's zone, Jacinto Mancio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Astor Santiago came out of the goal and Jacinto Mancio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 17 minutes into the game, Sergio Illart recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elias Sergi. Sergio Illart showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Elias Sergi made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Robustiano Maria sent off a good shot on target. 26 minutes into the match, Ichipuca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteban Millano came free, but Astor Santiago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Esteban Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Santiago having to interfere. Ichipuca FC's Astor Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Mancio in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Bernabe Nuxila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, one of Carolina:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Carolina. Astor Santiago stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jacinto Mancio's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Astor Santiago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteban Millano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Carolina's Esteban Millano made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Astor Santiago was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Jacinto Mancio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carolina's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacinto Mancio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Astor Santiago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteban Millano to strike the kick off in the second half. Ichipuca FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Esteban Millano scored to the left of an out of position Astor Santiago, making the score, 2-3. Sergio Illart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Elias Sergi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Esteban Millano in the 57th minute of play forced Ichipuca FC's goalkeeper Astor Santiago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jacinto Mancio got free with Astor Santiago in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Esteban Millano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Astor Santiago having to interfere. Esteban Millano struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Astor Santiago didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carolina. In the 64th minute, Jacinto Mancio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Carolina's Esteban Millano in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ichipuca FC's goalie prevented a goal. Astor Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dionisio Azevedo in the 69th minute of play. When Jacinto Mancio came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Carolina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Mancio couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Bernabe Nuxila had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. Florentino Montrell hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Jacinto Mancio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Jacinto Mancio came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Carolina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacinto Mancio couldn't finish the play. In the 86th minute, Dionisio Azevedo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ichipuca FC's Florentino Montrell got a free kick in the 87th minute. Sergio Ortzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Ortzi's late challenge caught a Ichipuca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sergio Ortzi helped the player get up and apologised. Sergio Ortzi hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jacinto Mancio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Astor Santiago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolina's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
