To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hermengildo Nesto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Felix Urtungo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Horacio Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Estefan having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Horacio Vidal put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Damian Estefan. After a rather tough play, Carlos Saul FC's Edgardo Acevedo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Damian Estefan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Natanael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Carlos Saul FC's Isidro Martino got a free kick in the 37th minute. Alberto Natanael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gogo Hitz to make the kick off. Racing Club's Felix Urtungo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Hitz in the 52nd minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Carlos Saul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Horacio Vidal came free, but Damian Estefan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Acevedo's late challenge caught a Racing Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgardo Acevedo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Carlos Saul FC's Edgardo Acevedo got a free kick in the 66th minute. Racing Club's Felix Urtungo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hermengildo Nesto in the 71st minute of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Gogo Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carlos Saul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Hitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gogo Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Urtungo having to interfere. Alberto Natanael fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damian Estefan having to interfere. After some careless play in the Racing Club defense, Hermengildo Nesto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Felix Urtungo. The Racing Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Felix Urtungo should have stopped the shot. Horacio Vidal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 94th minute. Racing Club's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 95 minutes into the match, Alberto Natanael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Estefan. Carlos Saul FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alberto Natanael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
