Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5325, Seating: 1633, VIP seats: 142) When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Zeledon Ihintza took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Genaro Izel to make any attempt to save it. Leopoldo Abalos hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 17th match minute, Champagne Talita FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvio Fagondo to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Champagne Talita FC's Julio Fernandes got a free kick in the 18th minute. If Zeledon Ihintza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Champagne Talita FC's Silvio Fagondo got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 26th minute of the match Joel Guillelmus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Genaro Izel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Segundo Umea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Segundo Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Genaro Izel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Frascuelo took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Isidor. Evaristo Isidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Antonio Checa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 39 minutes into the game, one of MUNICIPAL CAROYA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 45th minute Silvio Fagondo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Isidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The MUNICIPAL CAROYA players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Champagne Talita FC were winning 1-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Ihintza made a kick off. Champagne Talita FC's Genaro Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Ihintza in the 52nd minute of play. After 53 played minutes Champagne Talita FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciriaco Ihintza. After having played for 60 minutes, Zeledon Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MUNICIPAL CAROYA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateo Frascuelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Mateo Frascuelo struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Evaristo Isidor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Champagne Talita FC. Genaro Izel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Ihintza in the 69th minute of the match. The supporters of Champagne Talita FC booed when MUNICIPAL CAROYA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zeledon Ihintza didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to MUNICIPAL CAROYA getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Joel Guillelmus hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silvio Fagondo in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Evaristo Isidor saved MUNICIPAL CAROYA from getting behind. 91 minutes into the match, Silvio Fagondo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Evaristo Isidor. MUNICIPAL CAROYA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Silvio Fagondo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-4. Evaristo Isidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvio Fagondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Champagne Talita FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
