Spectators: 5140 (Terracing: 4040, Seating: 1100, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Zeledon Ihintza started the match with the kick off. Niceto Nahia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Segundo Umea in the 6th minute of the match. Flavio Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Umea in the 11th minute of play forced spurs fc's goalkeeper Niceto Nahia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute Leopoldo Abalos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niceto Nahia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Niceto Nahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Ihintza in the 15th minute of play. Leopoldo Abalos took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Nahia. Niceto Nahia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Evaristo Isidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicasio Roderigo in the 20th minute. spurs fc were furious when Celestino Baudelio was red carded, 26 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. When Hector Bernal came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the MUNICIPAL CAROYA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Bernal couldn't finish the play. Flavio Astudillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Isidor having to interfere. Evaristo Isidor was out of position in the 39 minute of play, and Prudencio Lizbeth capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prudencio Lizbeth really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Nicasio Roderigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicasio Roderigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeo Ramirez to make the kick off. Prudencio Lizbeth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Evaristo Isidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Vincente kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Zeledon Ihintza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Nahia. spurs fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zeledon Ihintza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Leopoldo Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niceto Nahia having to interfere. Tadeo Ramirez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Prudencio Lizbeth fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored spurs fc's protests and gave Prudencio Lizbeth a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of MUNICIPAL CAROYA booed when spurs fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prudencio Lizbeth didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Damaso Egun in the 72nd minute really tested Niceto Nahia's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Serafin Cristos charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Serafin Cristos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, MUNICIPAL CAROYA's Serafin Cristos got a free kick in the 73rd minute. 78 minutes into the game, Leopoldo Abalos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Niceto Nahia. Leopoldo Abalos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. If Prudencio Lizbeth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 86th minute Prudencio Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Evaristo Isidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evaristo Isidor stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nicasio Roderigo's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. After 92 minutes of play, MUNICIPAL CAROYA's Tadeo Vincente made it 1-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Nahia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nicasio Roderigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Isidor having to interfere. The MUNICIPAL CAROYA players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
