The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Raimundo Quexal took the ball and in the 6 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafino Salamon. In the 13th minute, Demshipek de Mercedes's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Leopoldo Norino fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Nestor Savion received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Serafino Salamon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the game, Justo Tano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carmen's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Demshipek de Mercedes the free kick. In the 21st minute, Justo Tano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Valentin Galoer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmen and the Demshipek de Mercedes players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 23 played minutes Carmen got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Galoer. In the 33rd minute, Nestor Savion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Demshipek de Mercedes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Carmen's Serafino Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Savion in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Galoer in the 38th minute of play forced Demshipek de Mercedes's goalkeeper Cristian Manex to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Demshipek de Mercedes's Silvano Koldo got a free kick in the 39th minute. Cristian Manex made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Leopoldo Norino sent off a good shot on target. Silverio Nuxila hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leopoldo Norino got free with Cristian Manex in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Valentin Galoer hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Quexal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Valentin Galoer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valentin Galoer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leopoldo Norino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristian Manex having to interfere. Valentin Galoer scored 1-2 in the 58th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristian Manex, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Serafino Salamon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nestor Savion in the 63rd minute. When Valentin Galoer was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 64 minutes had been played. Valentin Galoer kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Raimundo Quexal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cristian Manex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 72 played minutes Demshipek de Mercedes got a freekick which was hit by Silverio Nuxila. Carmen's Serafino Salamon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Carmen from getting a goal against them. Silverio Nuxila received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafino Salamon came out and tried to block the shot, but Silverio Nuxila slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 78th minute. Nestor Savion struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Serafino Salamon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Demshipek de Mercedes. Raimundo Quexal did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-4 to the left of a surprised Serafino Salamon 87 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Demshipek de Mercedes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
