Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Silvio Fagondo started the match with the kick off. Nicasio Roderigo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Champagne Talita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Baudelio came free, but Genaro Izel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, spurs fc's Niceto Nahia got control of the ball when Mateo Frascuelo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 8 minutes, Nicasio Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. spurs fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicasio Roderigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 11 minutes of play, spurs fc's Nicasio Roderigo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Genaro Izel was left in no man's land by his defense there! 15 minutes into the match, spurs fc's goal looked a bit too open when Silvio Fagondo came free, but Niceto Nahia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Celestino Baudelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Genaro Izel. Champagne Talita FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Celestino Baudelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Prudencio Lizbeth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Niceto Nahia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Fagondo in the 31st minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Champagne Talita FC's Mateo Frascuelo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niceto Nahia was left in no man's land by his defense there! spurs fc's Niceto Nahia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save spurs fc from getting a goal against them. Nicasio Roderigo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Izel having to interfere. 43 minutes into the game, Nicasio Roderigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. spurs fc's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Champagne Talita FC the free kick. The supporters of Champagne Talita FC booed when spurs fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicasio Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Champagne Talita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Roderigo came free, but Genaro Izel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half spurs fc were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicasio Roderigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Niceto Nahia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antonio Checa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 55 in the game by Nicasio Roderigo from a close distance when the talented Genaro Izel managed to make a qualified save. Champagne Talita FC's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Frascuelo in the 61st minute of play forced spurs fc's goalkeeper Niceto Nahia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Damaso Abeitia came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Champagne Talita FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Abeitia couldn't finish the play. Genaro Izel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tadeo Ramirez in the 67th minute. Celestino Baudelio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Genaro Izel made a huge save. Placido Llope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Genaro Izel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antonio Checa's late challenge caught a spurs fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Antonio Checa helped the player get up and apologised. If Celestino Baudelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Justo Claus during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, spurs fc's Justo Claus got a free kick in the 79th minute. Celestino Baudelio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Genaro Izel having to make a save. Champagne Talita FC's Genaro Izel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Baudelio in the 93rd minute of play. The Champagne Talita FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. spurs fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
