The supporters of MUNICIPAL CAROYA booed when La Tablada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lázaro Ishmael didn't get a good kick on the ball. 17 minutes into the game, Zeledon Ihintza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Jacinto Tonio took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Evaristo Isidor. Evaristo Isidor dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. In the 31stth minute of the game Celestino Lauren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MUNICIPAL CAROYA's Evaristo Isidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evaristo Isidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Lauren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Celestino Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Isidor having to interfere. Segundo Umea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute, Zeledon Ihintza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MUNICIPAL CAROYA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zeledon Ihintza was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Segundo Umea ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jaime Leobardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Jaime Leobardo made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Segundo Umea sent off a good shot on target. In the 64th minute, Segundo Umea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jacinto Tonio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Evaristo Isidor having to interfere. Leopoldo Abalos charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leopoldo Abalos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After recieving a nice pass, La Tablada's Roque Dubardo tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Evaristo Isidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Lauren, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 85 played minutes Zeledon Ihintza rounded La Tablada's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-5. Jaime Leobardo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Ihintza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the game, Severino Selmo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Tablada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MUNICIPAL CAROYA the free kick. A collision led to La Tablada getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Severino Selmo hit a great ball. The La Tablada supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching MUNICIPAL CAROYA's performance. The match ended with a win for MUNICIPAL CAROYA.
