A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in La Tablada's zone, Florentino Malvin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaime Leobardo came out of the goal and Florentino Malvin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Leobardo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Higinio Pelayo. Aldo Cucao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Lauren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aldo Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Lauren in the 16th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Florentino Malvin put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jaime Leobardo. Florentino Malvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aldo Cucao stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Celestino Lauren's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, La Tablada's Celestino Lauren got a free kick in the 30th minute. Jaime Leobardo was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Higinio Pelayo. Celestino Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacinto Tonio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Tablada's Jacinto Tonio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celestino Lauren to make the kick off. Jaime Leobardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Precioso in the 53rd minute of the match. La Tablada's Jaime Leobardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fausto Precioso in the 56th minute of play. When Benigno Etor fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Tablada's protests and gave Benigno Etor a yellow card for diving instead. Benigno Etor kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. When Celestino Lauren came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the La Tablada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Lauren couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, La Tablada's goal looked a bit too open when Fausto Precioso came free, but Jaime Leobardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Imperio FC's Florentino Malvin got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacinto Tonio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Aldo Cucao made a huge save. Aldo Cucao made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Jacinto Tonio sent off a good shot on target. 73 minutes into the match, Florentino Malvin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jaime Leobardo. La Tablada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentino Malvin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celestino Lauren in the 77th minute of play forced Imperio FC's goalkeeper Aldo Cucao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Damian Guillem during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jacinto Tonio was extremely unlucky when he, in the 80th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Celestino Lauren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Lauren's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aldo Cucao read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. Celestino Lauren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aldo Cucao having to interfere. When Damian Guillem came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Imperio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Guillem couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Imperio FC had won after a very even match.
