The supporters of Viamonte booed when santydom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobaldo Celipe didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Manuel Selmo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Viamonte's zone, Esteve Lluterio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angel Ruisko came out of the goal and Esteve Lluterio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angel Ruisko came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by santydom's Esteve Lluterio. But to his dismay, Esteve Lluterio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 36th minute, santydom's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reynaldo Cebo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. santydom's Jacinto Cordero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gualterio Roderigo in the 38th minute of play. Jacinto Cordero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Roderigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 42 minutes, Gualterio Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viamonte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gualterio Roderigo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Angel Ruisko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Esteve Lluterio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 53rd minute Gualterio Roderigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Cordero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Viamonte booed when santydom was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evelio Nafarroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 63rd minute of the match Viamonte got a corner. santydom's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. After taking down the ball on Viamonte's corner Oscar Milian fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jacinto Cordero quite easily take care of the ball. Jacinto Cordero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reynaldo Cebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind santydom's goalkeeper Jacinto Cordero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Reynaldo Cebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Evelio Nafarroa charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evelio Nafarroa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 78 played minutes santydom got a freekick which was hit by Evelio Nafarroa. Jacinto Cordero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Roderigo in the 79th minute of play. Jacinto Cordero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gualterio Roderigo in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Reynaldo Cebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Viamonte fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 89 minutes into the game, Reynaldo Cebo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jacinto Cordero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ernesto Ongile charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ernesto Ongile the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Ernesto Ongile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Viamonte's Angel Ruisko got control of the ball when Manuel Selmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The santydom players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
