After 25 played minutes Enrique Hodei rounded Macio's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. After 35 played minutes, Macio's Desiderio Quico shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bruno Quinto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Macio reached it. Enrique Hodei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Hodei to make the kick off. Enrique Hodei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Melquiades Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cirilo Ladio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benicio Maule in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bruno Quinto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 66 minutes, Aristides Pirmin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Macio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aristides Pirmin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bruno Quinto was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Benicio Maule capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benicio Maule really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 73 minutes into the match, Macio's goal looked a bit too open when Enrique Hodei came free, but Melquiades Herensuge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Aristides Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the game, one of GonzalexFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Saverio Favila kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Aristides Pirmin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Macio fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Melquiades Herensuge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Hodei in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Macio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Julio Lazcano was slow to take the kick. During this time GonzalexFC's players had a chance to rest. After a rather tough play, GonzalexFC's Felipe Sabino got a free kick in the 98th minute. Benicio Maule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Macio played a much better game than GonzalexFC and deserved their victory. The GonzalexFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
