Saul Santiago was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 48 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Cacheuta AFC's Timoteo Erauso got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 80th minute, Adolfo Lico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience held their breath when Maximino Lopez in the 82nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Honorato Hegoi's left hand side. The Cacheuta AFC fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Cacheuta AFC's Timoteo Erauso looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
