The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Pes in the 4th minute of play forced Macio's goalkeeper Melquiades Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorio Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Honorio Pes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melquiades Herensuge having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Erauso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melquiades Herensuge was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Benicio Maule recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vladimiro Juvenal. Benicio Maule showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Melquiades Herensuge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Pes in the 18th minute of play. If Honorio Pes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Jacob hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Honorio Pes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 32 played minutes Macio got a freekick which was hit by Andres Rocio. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Timoteo Erauso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cacheuta AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Timoteo Erauso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Melquiades Herensuge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Juvenal made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Aristides Pirmin sent off a good shot on target. Vladimiro Juvenal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Maule in the 42nd minute of the match. Macio's Aristides Pirmin was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 48th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benicio Maule to make the kick off. Benicio Maule sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Aristides Pirmin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felix Jerold during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 66 played minutes Cacheuta AFC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Jerold. Cacheuta AFC's Vladimiro Juvenal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aristides Pirmin in the 67th minute of play. Honorio Pes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, Aristides Pirmin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cacheuta AFC's zone, Aristides Pirmin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Juvenal came out of the goal and Aristides Pirmin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timoteo Erauso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Melquiades Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Honorio Pes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Herensuge. Macio's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Honorio Pes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in Cacheuta AFC's zone, Benicio Maule stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vladimiro Juvenal came out of the goal and Benicio Maule tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Macio booed when Cacheuta AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximino Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball.
