Pico FC's Julian Salomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santiago Milio in the 6th minute of play. After 7 minutes, Roman Eyague made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pico FC's Julian Salomon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Roman Eyague recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Salomon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Milio in the 16th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Milio in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Salomon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlos Aztore struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Julian Salomon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hijos del Asado FC. 25 minutes into the match, Pico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Eyague came free, but Julian Salomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 minutes, Uriel Gaxan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pico FC and the Hijos del Asado FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julian Salomon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Aztore in the 29th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Pico FC's Ciro Javiero got a free kick in the 29th minute. Santiago Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Ourente received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Romeo Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Santiago Milio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Salomon was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Julian Salomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Aztore, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Milio in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julian Salomon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 47th minute, Santiago Milio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julian Salomon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Hijos del Asado FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Santiago Milio to strike the kick off in the second half. With his leg Julian Salomon managed to avoid a goal in the 53rdth minute, when Hijos del Asado FC's Santiago Milio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 54th match minute, Pico FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Loiola to maneuver through the defense. Julian Salomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santiago Milio, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute, Carlos Aztore made a precise shot to the right of Julian Salomon. Pico FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. The crowd rose to their feet as Hijos del Asado FC's Roman Eyague slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Julian Salomon. That made the score 0-5 after 60 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Carlos Aztore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hijos del Asado FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlos Aztore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Salomon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pico FC's Julian Salomon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Pico FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Pico FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Uriel Gaxan hit a great ball. Julian Salomon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Milio in the 68th minute of play. Santiago Milio's late challenge caught a Pico FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santiago Milio helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Salomon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Aztore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Uriel Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julian Salomon made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Santiago Milio sent off a good shot on target. 92 minutes into the match, Pico FC's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Milio came free, but Julian Salomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Santiago Milio got free with Julian Salomon in the 97th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hijos del Asado FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
