The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. German Tono was the one to do the kick off. CLUB SPORTIVO ITALIANO's Adolfo Benat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miguel Raitin in the 51st minute of play. After some careless play in the Maquito AFC defense, German Tono kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Laureano Acuña. The Maquito AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Laureano Acuña should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the game, Maquito AFC's Federico Johans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adolfo Benat made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Cornelio Suarez's late challenge caught a Maquito AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornelio Suarez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to CLUB SPORTIVO ITALIANO getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Cornelio Suarez hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Rafel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Adolfo Benat. Arnaldo Rafel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. German Tono took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Laureano Acuña. Laureano Acuña dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Federico Johans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adolfo Benat having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Moises Onofre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When CLUB SPORTIVO ITALIANO's Cornelio Suarez in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Maquito AFC's goalie prevented a goal. If German Tono had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
