The Hijos del Asado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romeo Porfirio should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Naelio in the 27th minute of play forced Hijos del Asado FC's goalkeeper Romeo Porfirio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29thth minute of the game Santiago Milio who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chicorita F.C.'s Marcos Peio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Chicorita F.C.'s Wilfredo Dolcet got a free kick in the 30th minute. Marcos Peio was out of position in the 31 minute of play, and Santiago Milio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Santiago Milio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 41 minutes into the game, Hijos del Asado FC's Santiago Milio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcos Peio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Hijos del Asado FC's Roman Eyague in the 48th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Marcos Peio was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Chicorita F.C. through an amazing save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gustavo Naelio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice moves Gustavo Naelio could shoot a difficult shot in the 53rd minute, which Romeo Porfirio however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Chicorita F.C. getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Silvestre Ignazio hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, Roman Eyague left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hijos del Asado FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. Aldo Tolino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Romeo Porfirio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Naelio got free with Romeo Porfirio in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Batu Cem Yanar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 68 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Romeo Porfirio, was totally fooled by Chicorita F.C.'s Gustavo Naelio, who 69 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 74th match minute, Chicorita F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Cucao to maneuver through the defense. Romeo Porfirio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Braulio Eusko, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Marcos Peio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Milio in the 86th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Milio in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Peio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Chicorita F.C.'s Wilfredo Dolcet got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Wilfredo Dolcet hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Hijos del Asado FC's Romeo Porfirio got control of the ball when Gustavo Naelio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chicorita F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
