But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robustiano Bazil couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Joanes kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. When Pascual Estefan, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 23 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Jaime Tibalt was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Robustiano Bazil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaime Tibalt having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Princesas Perversas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romulo Amor to maneuver through the defense. Princesas Perversas's Jaime Tibalt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robustiano Bazil in the 34th minute of play. A collision led to Princesas Perversas getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Lucio Canor hit a great ball. Malleo's Pascual Estefan got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Damian Gonzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gerardo Joanes was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 40 minutes had been played. In the 45th minute Pascual Estefan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaime Tibalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Jaime Tibalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robustiano Bazil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucas Sotil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Etxeberri in the 72nd minute of the match. Florencio Etxeberri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Lucas Sotil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilberto Noe's late challenge caught a Malleo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilberto Noe helped the player get up and apologised. Malleo were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
