Matadores de Pilar's Donato Bastia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Flores in the 4th minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Alfonso Flores had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Donato Bastia. Matadores de Pilar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alfonso Flores was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Rodrigo Panfilo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Benvido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Miguel Benvido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodrigo Panfilo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pastor Rio in the 19th minute. In the 21stth minute of the game Alfonso Flores who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matadores de Pilar's Donato Bastia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Bastia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Flores, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute Alfonso Flores shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Bastia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alfonso Flores's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Bastia was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Miguel Benvido kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodrigo Panfilo. That made the score 1-1 in the 35 minute of play. Rodrigo Panfilo made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Pastor Rio sent off a good shot on target. After 40 played minutes Dapsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Lesardo. Tiburcio Macerio took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodrigo Panfilo. Rodrigo Panfilo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Miguel Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Rodrigo Panfilo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 played minutes Dapsa FC got a freekick which was hit by Luis Iraido. Pastor Rio struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Rodrigo Panfilo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matadores de Pilar. Tiburcio Macerio hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Alfonso Flores's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Bastia read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Donato Bastia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Pastor Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the game, Eugenio Raymon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Donato Bastia. Eugenio Raymon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. Dapsa FC's Vicente Mendebal was substituted for Luis Iraido. Dapsa FC made a substitution. Carmelo Weather replaced Alfonso Flores. 92 minutes into the match, Dapsa FC's Carmelo Weather sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Bastia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 93 minutes, Carmelo Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dapsa FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmelo Weather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donato Bastia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carmelo Weather's shot from short distance in the 98th minute. Dapsa FC played a much better game than Matadores de Pilar and deserved their victory. The Matadores de Pilar players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
