In the 33rd match minute, CATISTIM FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Kusko to maneuver through the defense. If Fernan Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lorenzo Peru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredo Evangelista having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in CATISTIM FC's zone, Marcos Donostia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfredo Evangelista came out of the goal and Marcos Donostia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 43rd minute of the match Adrian Palben shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfredo Evangelista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bruno Muno made a kick off. A hard shot 52 in the game by Lázaro Dantae from a close distance when the talented Mauricio Tiadoro managed to make a qualified save. Talleres's players were relieved. If Bruno Muno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfredo Evangelista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Peru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Talleres's Lorenzo Peru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredo Evangelista made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Talleres's Fernan Astudillo got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Talleres fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Talleres's Bruno Muno looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lorenzo Peru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elpidio Txanton kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Bruno Muno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. CATISTIM FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Talleres the free kick. Alfredo Evangelista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bruno Muno's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After a rather tough play, Talleres's Bartolo Cesario got a free kick in the 88th minute. Lorenzo Peru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Fernan Astudillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
