Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gogo Panfilo started the match with the kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Gogo Panfilo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fauzón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gogo Panfilo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 5th minute, Isidro Leheren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cipriano Ruy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Danilo Padro having to interfere. Cipriano Ruy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Danilo Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Gogo Panfilo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tala's Francisco Barto. Francisco Barto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Fauzón getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Jeronimo Viator hit a great ball. If Isidro Leheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Francisco Barto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gogo Panfilo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute Simon Maule shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francisco Barto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fauzón's Jeronimo Viator got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Simon Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Barto having to interfere. Simon Maule received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Francisco Barto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute, Cipriano Ruy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danilo Padro didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 37th minute, which inside left pole to 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Simon Maule fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francisco Barto having to interfere. Francisco Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Panfilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. 61 minutes into the match, Simon Maule notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Tala's Francisco Barto. Francisco Barto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fauzón's Gogo Panfilo got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Romeo Maties's late challenge caught a Fauzón's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romeo Maties helped the player get up and apologised. Romeo Maties hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Gogo Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Maule recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tala's Francisco Barto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Tala from getting a goal against them. Gogo Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Fauzón booed when Tala was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Javier Orain didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Cipriano Ruy came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cipriano Ruy couldn't finish the play. Isidro Leheren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Danilo Padro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
