To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isidro Leheren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tobias Evangelista having to interfere. Romeo Maties hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Francisco Barto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Ferrer, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Tala's Francisco Barto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Telmo in the 20th minute of play. After 23 minutes of play, Barrilete Cósmico ®'s Mariano Joachim made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Barto was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Felix Telmo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barrilete Cósmico ®'s supporters rose to their feet, but Felix Telmo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isidro Leheren couldn't finish the play. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felix Telmo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
