Futbol Club Oeste's Celestino Oihenarte couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 17th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Depo Tria. Filomeno Loramendi got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Felix Txatxu was out of position in the 44 minute of play, and Fermin Brun capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fermin Brun really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fermin Brun to strike the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Isidro Gartzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Txatxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Isidro Gartzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fermin Brun might have been able to make a better finish in the 63rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Txatxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Brun ran back to his position shaking his head. Isidro Gartzi might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Txatxu. Claudio Nataniel struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Benigno Eguerdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Depo Tria. In the 89th minute Fermin Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felix Txatxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Brun, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. A collision led to Futbol Club Oeste getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Victorio Clementi hit a great ball. There was no doubt that Futbol Club Oeste were the better team. Futbol Club Oeste's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
