Felix Txatxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silvio Matia in the 20th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Silvio Matia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Txatxu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Silvio Matia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Felix Txatxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Tala de Santa Lucía FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guaberto Urtzi to maneuver through the defense. If Rolando Peruanton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tala de Santa Lucía FC's Guaberto Urtzi got a free kick in the 27th minute. If Bernardino Theobald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rolando Peruanton to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute of the match, Silvio Matia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Txatxu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Guaberto Urtzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tala de Santa Lucía FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Urtzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the game, Inocencio Toli recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Felix Txatxu. Inocencio Toli showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in Tala de Santa Lucía FC's zone, Bernardino Theobald stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Federico Tajo came out of the goal and Bernardino Theobald tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Tiso hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Tala de Santa Lucía FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
