Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Maruchas FC's Atilano Weterio started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mario Cutberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eugenio Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Procopio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugenio Birjaio in the 17th minute of the match. Durazno's Pablo Mitxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Weterio in the 18th minute of play. Teodosio Aguirre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Denis Procopio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Maruchas FC's zone, Mario Cutberto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Procopio came out of the goal and Mario Cutberto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Durazno booed when Maruchas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Santana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mario Cutberto struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Denis Procopio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durazno. Durazno's Pablo Mitxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Weterio in the 29th minute of play. Denis Procopio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Cutberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 36 minutes into the match, Durazno's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Weterio came free, but Pablo Mitxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eugenio Birjaio struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Denis Procopio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Durazno. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Cutberto to make the kick off. Durazno's Eugenio Birjaio got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Teodosio Aguirre's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Procopio was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Mario Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durazno's supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Cutberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Procopio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 67 minutes into the match, Eugenio Birjaio notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Maruchas FC's Denis Procopio. Denis Procopio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Atilano Weterio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Mitxel having to interfere. When Eugenio Birjaio came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Durazno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugenio Birjaio couldn't finish the play. If Eugenio Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ambrosio Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Celestino Porfiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durazno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestino Porfiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maruchas FC's Denis Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celestino Porfiro in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugenio Birjaio in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Denis Procopio saved Maruchas FC from getting behind. Mario Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Procopio having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Durazno had played much better football throughout.
