Spectators: 7299 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1679, VIP seats: 145) Miguel Damario started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Mario Cutberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valentin Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Ambos Mundos's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Porfiro came free, but Valentin Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 20 minutes of play, Durazno's Eugenio Birjaio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valentin Nicholas was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Desiderio Osoro got free with Pablo Mitxel in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Pablo Mitxel successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Mauro Valiente managed to get in a good position for a shot. Durazno's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauro Valiente was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valentin Nicholas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ambos Mundos's goalkeeper Valentin Nicholas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 29 played minutes Durazno got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Gartxot. Eugenio Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Celestino Porfiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Nicholas having to interfere. If Eugenio Birjaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 42 minutes into the match, Ambos Mundos's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Porfiro came free, but Valentin Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ambos Mundos's Valentin Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Valiente in the 43rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ambos Mundos's zone, Saturnino Iyan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Nicholas came out of the goal and Saturnino Iyan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Durazno's Eugenio Birjaio got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Durazno were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mario Cutberto to make the kick off. When Mario Cutberto came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Durazno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mario Cutberto couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Mario Cutberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Abel Balesio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Valentin Nicholas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eugenio Birjaio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valentin Nicholas having to make a save. A collision led to Ambos Mundos getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Gustavo Munio hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Durazno got a freekick which was hit by Abel Balesio. In the 66th minute of the match Antonio Bidari shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pablo Mitxel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Mario Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 70 played minutes Ambos Mundos got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Munio. Eugenio Birjaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Celestino Porfiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eugenio Birjaio in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Valentin Nicholas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 83 minutes into the match, Eugenio Birjaio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Valentin Nicholas, 0-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Durazno's Mario Cutberto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Valentin Nicholas. That made the score 0-4 after 87 minutes of play. If Mario Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Durazno's Mario Cutberto got a free kick in the 96th minute. Durazno played a much better game than Ambos Mundos and deserved their victory. The Ambos Mundos players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
