Spectators: 7169 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 100) Tamangueyú's Isaias Urtats got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Marino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfonso Hartz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Carpintería's zone, Luis Marino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Hartz came out of the goal and Luis Marino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfonso Hartz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Marino went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The Carpintería fans' excitement grew in the 18th match minute when Carpintería's Jesus Sugar looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 23rd minute Isaias Urtats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Hartz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 played minutes Tamangueyú got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Lertxun. Tamangueyú's Pablo Cresencio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Tamangueyú from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 33 minutes, Pablo Cresencio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute Carpintería were awarded a corner. Silvano Palban went to the cornerflag to take it. Carpintería's Silvano Palban was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Pablo Cresencio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Everardo Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Cresencio having to interfere. Pablo Cresencio made a fantastic save in the 44th minute, when Everardo Abreu sent off a good shot on target. Everardo Abreu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pablo Cresencio having to make a save. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tamangueyú's goalkeeper Pablo Cresencio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After the first half Tamangueyú were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jesus Sugar made a kick off. Carpintería's Jesus Sugar got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jesus Sugar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Urtats sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Angel Gustau fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tamangueyú's protests and gave Angel Gustau a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tamangueyú's Angel Gustau got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jesus Sugar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Pablo Cresencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias Urtats struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Alfonso Hartz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tamangueyú. Pablo Cresencio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Ferran in the 98th minute of play. The Carpintería supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Tamangueyú's performance. The match ended with a win for Tamangueyú.
