Gogo Misael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Artemio Ferran hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Alfonso Hartz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gogo Misael went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Carpintería's Alfonso Hartz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gogo Misael in the 16th minute of play. Alfonso Hartz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gogo Misael in the 19th minute of play. After some careless play in the Carpintería defense, Gogo Misael kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfonso Hartz. The Carpintería fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfonso Hartz should have stopped the shot. If Jesus Sugar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Gogo Misael had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfonso Hartz. Carpintería's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gogo Misael was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. If Godfredo Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christian Gelacio's late challenge caught a Caracara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Christian Gelacio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Carpintería's Christian Gelacio got a free kick in the 44th minute. The Carpintería players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Caracara FC were winning 0-3.

Everardo Abreu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Teodosio Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes of play, Carpintería's Jesus Sugar made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! Caracara FC's Feliberto Atauri shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 60th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Alfonso Hartz but with some difficulty. Gogo Misael in the 61stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alfonso Hartz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After having played for 63 minutes, Godfredo Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caracara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godfredo Frances was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 64th minute, Gogo Misael fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to Carpintería getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Uriel Jacob hit a great ball. When Everardo Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carpintería's protests and gave Everardo Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 67th match minute, Carpintería was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Abreu to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Artemio Ferran was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carpintería's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Caracara FC the free kick. After 68 played minutes Carpintería got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Ferran. Carpintería's Alfonso Hartz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Carpintería from getting a goal against them. Jesus Sugar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Everardo Abreu came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Carpintería fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Everardo Abreu couldn't finish the play. Teodosio Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesus Sugar, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Caracara FC's Teodosio Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Sugar in the 86th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gogo Misael got free with Alfonso Hartz in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
