Lalaine Team's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ilvermorny FC the free kick. A collision led to Lalaine Team getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Pedro Ladio hit a great ball. Americo Seber was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 9th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Hernan Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Chago came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Lalaine Team's Hernan Millan. But to his dismay, Hernan Millan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Pedro Ladio kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Ilvermorny FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hernan Millan came free, but Sergio Chago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Abad, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. If Gonzalo Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 40 minutes into the match, Lalaine Team's goal looked a bit too open when Gonzalo Abad came free, but Mateo Araoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Lalaine Team booed when Ilvermorny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Lazcano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Millan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Lalaine Team were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

If Gonzalo Abad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Silverio Kiliz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gonzalo Abad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mateo Araoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 68 minutes, Gonzalo Abad managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ilvermorny FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonzalo Abad was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 73 minutes into the match, Astor Pio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Araoz. Lalaine Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Astor Pio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Hernan Millan let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 78th minute shot 1-2 at rihgt post. Sergio Chago showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octavio Fanuco in the 85th minute of the match. Mateo Araoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Abad, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. When Astor Pio came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Ilvermorny FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Astor Pio couldn't finish the play. Mateo Araoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Abad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Lalaine Team got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Ladio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gonzalo Abad in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateo Araoz saved Lalaine Team from getting behind. Lalaine Team's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
