Feliciano Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Fidel Sugoi's late challenge caught a Cardenales Tucumán RC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fidel Sugoi helped the player get up and apologised. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benicio Eladio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Luciano Gregory showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Endira, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Tadeo Endira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luciano Gregory. Trampa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Endira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 62nd minute Benicio Eladio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Seme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ricardo Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Gregory having to interfere. Luciano Gregory showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardo Inautzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano Gregory showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ricardo Inautzi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Gregory having to interfere. 97 minutes into the match, Cardenales Tucumán RC's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Aureo came free, but Domingo Seme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Cardenales Tucumán RC had played much better football throughout.
